Not quite what I meant. I just meant that at one point in time, Pixar was infallible; every movie they made was a massive hit and critically acclaimed. People kept predicting that eventually they'd stumble, and it never happened. That's not the case any more, and like any studio, they have hits and misses now...no longer is a Pixar movie a guaranteed audience and critic darling.

As for the MCU, they've given us Dark World, which is as mediocre as you can get, so I don't see how The Eternals, good or bad, is going to seal the doom of the MCU.
Never said that either. Even if Eternals sucks, people will still dig MCU movies. Although with Downey and Evans gone, there IS a big hole that needs to be filled, and I don't think the current crop of MCU heroes will quite pull it off.
I'm honestly curious how The Marvels (AKA Captain Marvel 2) will come off. I'm no Brie Larson hater, but I just don't find Captain Marvel that compelling since she's so overpowered. But the Ms. Marvel Disney+ series looks interesting, and I'm looking forward to seeing her on the big screen with Carol Danvers. Although pulling off Kamala's powers in live-action (enlarging individual body parts like fists and stuff) could either be cool or completely retarded, considering how they handle them. We shall see!
