It’s just you have to be a bit careful when twisting things around. After the joints loosen up, things are usually ok.

Also, it comes down to the specific figure too. I have Cable that has relatively large joints almost everywhere that do not have much risk of breaking. Carnage has smaller joints in some movable parts that could potentially break. But yea, as long as you are paying attention when posing, it will be completely fine.
