Having the Silver Surfer that's seen several ML releases as an unlock is beyond dumb.
Big disagreement here. Seems you're generalizing Galactus as just another big figure/character like Sentinel, a potential Haslab fing fang foom, giant man, even impossible projects like shuma gorath or the living tribunal.
Difference is that a huge part of Galactus' identity/character in the comics is defined by those he literally empowers/creates: his heralds. Sure surfer is the most famous but every single comic Galactus is in, there's at least one herald. I have even read stories where Galactus does literally does nothing at all except stand there with an imperious smirk while the surfer dispatches Galactus' foes. Heralds are actual extensions of his power. Like, living blasts. Tiers for heralds that would never see the light of day goe far more towards completing the total experience, imo.
I mean I get it, I'd love blast effects too. But those can be made/bought...someone will do it. Sell the heralds and use the money to buy effects, or make your own.
But a $400 32" Galactus needs heralds beyond surfer, an almost 10 year old Terrax mold and even throwing in cosmic ghost rider. Firelord can can carry his own release but everyone else would almost certainly never see the light of day outside of the Haslab
