[Dolemite]

The movie was pretty good but not amazing, but as an old-school Hong King Kung-Fu movie addict I was prepared to be unimpressed by the fight scenes, but I was wrong. They were actually very good, especially the bus fight near the beginning. The soundtrack was fire also.

The main problem was that the movie was too long and dragged in spots. And also **SPOILER ALERT** the plot with Wenwu "hearing" his dead wife's voice was kinda dumb, because no one actually tried to explain to him that it was really a demon trying to manipulate him. Shang-Chi would just be like "that's not her talking to you" without saying anything else like a real person would do. The after-credit scenes were kinda lame too (aside from the karaoke bit, lol).

And shockingly, Awkwafina was not an annoying fucktard. She struck a nice balance between funny and serious and I actually felt she worked well in the movie unlike most douchebag comedy sidekicks, like Kat Dennings in the Thor movies/Wandavision.
