I'm tempted to grab several mouser sets just to have a diverse army for my cartoon setup.
I initially went the same route, NECA only for Comic, Cartoon, Movie, didn't need Super7 because I have my vintage TMNT figures. But after getting a few Super7 in hand, I'm blown away.
I love that with Super7 we can pre-order at e-tailers. If only they fix their fragile leg pins, they would be even better.
Checking out some of my vintage TMNT figures, I have found several to get plasticizer breakdown already making them sticky to the touch. That made me think about these Super7 versions as well. If they will last me 20-30 years, I would be good getting up there in age then.
It's very difficult to track down the NECA versions, and for me especially after missing out on Cartoon April and Cartoon Casey, I'm not really excited anymore about the NECA releases. at. all. New stuff put on their website is limited now and sells out way too fast. It's frustrating to collect NECA Cartoon TMNT, blink and gone, want them? pay up a ransom at the scalpers. It's making it very frustrating and not fun to collect while the stuff I collect is suppose to be fun. Not to mention the fragile "disposable goods" along with paintrubs, NECA ain't much fun.
That being said, I still attempt to get some cartoon versions at retail which interest me if I get lucky enough to stumble upon them.
