The Legends portion of my birthday haul.

I initially had little interest in picking up the mark III but after getting Iron Monger earlier in the month I figured I might as well also nab the corresponding Iron Man. This figure looks pretty great overall, the sculpt is reasonably well detailed and the paint is mostly clean. The red is too light a shade to be screen accurate but personally I like it this way as it sort of lends the figure a more catch-all vibe. I think the open helmet head looks quite better in hand than it does online but I've already got Endgame Tony displayed using his wonderful RDJ portrait so this one's going helmeted. I will complain that switching the heads was weirdly difficult for a Hasbro figure and I couldn't get the closed helmet head to properly pop on without heating it up first. The tank missile arm piece is a nice inclusion but I find the improvised shield from the final battle pointless since this figure otherwise doesn't match that scene. The repulsor hands having painted repulsors is novel but it comes at the cost of actually having the full effect to plug in (then again this effect has been standard with just about every Iron Man so it's not exactly missed). Overall I'm glad to have this figure.

Got the Happy and Midas set at reduced price mainly for Jon Favreau the action figure. Midas is an alright armor since it's a shout-out to the comics what with his suit from the Avengers being solid gold, and this figure is alright since it's a repaint of the really nice figure from the first 10 years subline in varied shades of gold with some details in metallic grey or such. Still it would've been cooler to get an actual new armor like the MCU Silver Centurion, Heartbreaker, or maybe change the pack to Iron Man 2 from 3 and give us the suitcase armor with the suitcase as an accessory. Hasbro gonna do as they do, and easy repaints are to be expected. The real draw of the set though is Happy, looking pretty grumpy, on a new suited body. The likeness is good and the paint apps are clean, albeit very minimal, but I will complain that I am worried they made the cellphone accessory too thin and overall small. He holds it fine and I appreciate that it has painted details but I'm pretty sure if he drops this thing even once it'll be gone forever. An alternate head would obviously have been appreciated but since Happy has been real high up on my MCU wants for a good long while I'm glad to finally get him.

Endgame final battle Thor is just cool. I like the powered up paint scheme for his eyes and the way they cast Stormbreaker in translucent blue and then brushed over areas in silver is a great effect. Sadly then I think Mjolnir is just silly in comparison since they similarly cast it in translucent blue but instead of the cool silver brushes approach they just drew on cartoon lightning bolts in silver. Other than that though it's a great figure and I like having the trinity from Endgame to face off against Thanos.
