It is part and parcel to the line. The good thing here is they have abandoned the "either or" approach to articulation in which you got knee joints or elbow joints but not both. As this line progresses Hasbro has upped the ante a bit and the figures, while still not at the MU or GI Joe level of articulation, is getting better. The Carnage figure was pretty good and a new Venom is appreciated with more articulation then last time (when the "either or" rule struck). Even Ben Reilly Spiderman was an improvement. Not perfect but improved. As such I can't see the Venom figure staying on the shelves long. You might think of it as a "fail" but I look at it more as an "average". In other words, I'll pick it up and if MU or even this line ever improve on it I will move it out of my rotation on the old shelf. This is completely the opposite of the "fail" that the entire first 2 waves (minus the Rhino, even though that was another "either or") made me think.
