No Clarence Boddicker figure? No RoboCain? Come on, NECA. Stop doing the main character from a license and nothing else.
Well, AT LEAST they made an ED-209, but I can't imagine that Kurtwood Smith's likeness rights are that expensive...

Yeah, doesn't look like they changed a fucking thing. Their RoboCop figures look great but the articulation is dogshit.
I mean, it's cool that he's coming with the Cobra Assault Cannon, but look at the pics...he can't even hold it properly. He can only point it straight ahead with one hand like an overgrown ReAction figure. Lame.
This would have been a great opportunity to do some re-tooling and improve the articulation, but NECA took the lazy way out. I honestly don't care about the Peter Weller likeness, as I prefer my Robo figures with the helmet on.
I have the spring-loaded holster Robo, and I think I'll just stick with that since this is the same exact figure. Although the chair and the Cobra Cannon ARE tempting...

NECA has a rep for regularly straight-up lying by claiming figures are "ALL NEW" when they're just blatant re-releases with a new accessory or two. They do it a lot with their Alien figures.
