It's looking like the Pulse Rifle is still the only Nerf LMTD blaster that's actually functional beyond plinking. Granted, this isn't even close to the raw deal Mando's blaster was from a foam flinging perspective (though still not war practical) but it'd be nice if they made these things something that could really be used. Why not a fly-wheeler? Or if they're going for a unique drum, how about a longer helical design to drop darts into the chamber and quadruple the dart count? Go with a Mega tube mag?
Like, be creative! You've got a locked-in audience, you're allowed to try new things without risking resources on a blaster that won't sell.
And from the "cosplay" angle, this is... really not good. I imagine the people going for this release over others would be people looking specifically for the Morrison Fett blaster, because there are a
ton
of options for OT Fett blasters out there that would require just as much paint as this one would to look the part, and at literally a quarter of the price. For this much money, you might as well go unlicensed and get something off Etsy that's already in the right colors (and not wait 14 months)!
