Hiya is a small company, so I'd imagine the amount of releases would pace around something like Mezco. I've also heard that the overall quality of Hiya's offerings aren't great; sort of fragile, like Neca. I have heard that the later stuff has improved greatly though, so there's hope.

In any case, I feel like it bears watching.

I can't comment on the quality of their human figures...but I have had a couple of Hiya's Predator figures in the past. Looked great in the box...but once I took them out, things immediately started to fall off and break, even with a fair amount of heat and the most gentle of handling. Twenty minutes after opening them, they were back in their boxes and up on ebay.

I've read comments that the colonial marine figures were in a similar vein, so while I do appreciate the detail being incorporated into these tiny sculpts, I've just steered clear of them altogether because of that experience, which was tough because i Really wanted their Robocop releases. It's just not fun to play with toys that I'm constantly wondering will crumble to dust in my hands.
