I mean they were so short-lived and in practice they looked a bit too much like Stephen was just wearing gardening gloves so it's not really a surprise to me that they were only ever seen in Ragnarok. I think the reason they didn't really work is because compared to his comic attire, MCU Strange has no yellow in his color palette so tossing on the yellow gloves looks out of place with the rest of the outfit. I also recall seeing that the gloves being in Ragnarok was never even a proper planned costume development, it was just easier than applying the scars on his hands.
