Sure they make me smile at work, but that can wait. Like I said, take care of yourself. Nimrod, you don’t need to apologize for anything you said either (and I’m not just sayin that because I agree with you about the X-Men). Your mom died, man. However you’re feeling is completely okay. Vent on this forum about action figures if you need to, don’t let us stop you.
Edit: I also hope, and this isn’t directed at anyone, that we can use this to remember that we never know where the other people posting here are coming from on a given day. Let’s always try and have a bit of patience and empathy.
Agreed. I'm sorry to hear that Dr Kain's friend's wife has died and that Kain's not feeling well. I'm also sorry to hear Nimrod's mom passed away. My best wishes to both of you, your families and your friends. I wish both of you well and am sorry to hear you both are going through a difficult time.
I sincerely hope that everyone else here is doing well. Things are still difficult for everyone and I hope that you, your loved ones and your friends are all well.
Back on topic, I am glad to hear that you got your Dr. Strange figure, Captain Nash. Now I'm curious as to what the other five to six figures coming out are that you're looking forward to!
On my end, the only new Marvel Legends I've ordered so far is Rhino. I got him at GameStop before he sold out, so I'm thankful I pre-ordered him when I did. I plan on getting Retro Falcon and pre-ordering U.S. Agent eventually, but I'm in no rush. I've already got my 20th anniversary Captain America and Hulk figures pre-ordered the day that those listings went up, so I look forward to getting both.
That said, as curious as I am about the other 2022 reveals, this year just feels underwhelming somehow, which it truly shouldn't be since this is Spider-Man's 60th anniversary year and the 20th anniversary year for Marvel Legends. It also doesn't help that, like last year, we're seeing delays in figure reveals because a show or movie trailer hasn't happened yet. Not being able to see half or more of a wave because Disney+ has yet to reveal anything on their new shows and the curious delay of revealing the 20th anniversary Toad has made my excitement wane a bit. Even the rumored leaked listings for the 20th anniversary and Spidey 60th anniversary waves have left me not as excited as I thought they would. But then again, the leaks could be wrong like that rumored Retro Spider-Man wave that was supposed to include Uncle Ben, Jack O'Lantern and Carnage, among others, and we all know those listings weren't real (though I certainly wouldn't mind Retro figures of Jack O'Lantern or Carnage).
There are a ton of characters, well above forty, that I'd love to see Hasbro make and remake before I even consider my collection anywhere near complete. But the other problem is pricing. With Marvel Legends's price tag already going up twice, I especially have to be more selective on who I buy and which version.
Thanks for reading my nonsense. I hope you all are having a great day and stay safe, everyone.
