My first and truest love is for the original series. However, Generations and Deep Space Nine are tied for second most favorite. Avery Brooks has been a favorite actor of mine since I was a child watching Spenser: For Hire/ A Man Called Hawk. I remained a fan even when he bemoaned his status as a thespian working on a Trek series and pretending to climb through airlocks as Captain Sisko. The implication was that he was somehow slumming it in his role, which proved to be his last to his notable chagrin; he's recently shared his opinion that he has been blacklisted by Hollywood.
