But aye, that was kinda my point. MotUC were far more limited and sub based and sold out quick and so became way more expensive to purchase. The recent Super 7 versions weren't much better being at a default price of about £50 here when Masterverse regular figures are £20 to £25 and Deluxes are £30 to £35.

But Classics figures (the Mattel versions, not necessarily the later run by Super7) are definitely better made. Some of it is that they have less articulation so less potential spots for QA issues.
Dunno about that. Some were well made but several MotUC figures were known to be fragile. Green Goddess was so notorious because of her transparent plastic breaking into bits, that many just sought out a second Teela to paint green and use instead. lol. Sorceress's bizarre wing contraption often broke too.

The Masterverse Classic Teela is a mess (that weird joint in the upper thigh doesn't connect quite right, I think because of how they pose her in the package).
Might be issue with your Teela, maybe. Most have been fine. Give Mattel a call if your figure's issue bothers you enough. Their customer service has been top-notch and if they can't replace the figure they've often provided full refunds and let you keep the 'faulty' figure anyway. Well for my friend anyways. Even though he's here in the UK and Mattel are over in the US they've paid him full refunds on two Deluxe Masterverse sets (Rev Savage He-man with Orko and the Faker) while letting him keep those and they've apparently helped him out with Mega Construx issues too. So aye, he says they're ace. And way better than Super 7. lol

But Classics figures are better over all, despite having slightly less articulation.
I think that's matter of opinion. I (and especially my best mate still annoyed about the Thundercats usage of the motuc style, for the torso shape, the visible pin holes, the QC issues and the dated articulation) really dislike the body and aesthetics and head sculpts of many of the MotUC figures. I think the only thing we agreed on liking about that line is how deep it went. They did almost EVERYBODY. lol.
Not saying Masterverse is perfect. Far from it. And I've bought a couple of custom heads for ones I didn't like the heads of (mainly the oddly smiley He-Man and dirty Skeletor lol) But we're having a whole lot more fun with it than trying to chase down expensive MotUC figures that we don't particularly like the style of anyway lol. And it's so far the only toyline my kid and I have both enjoyed and long may it continue. Well at least as far as the point where he reaches the teenage years where he feels he has to be all cool and such and toys are just for kids and then I'll be stuck collecting them on my own for a long time lol I got him another He-Man in clearance the other day so he can have a go at customising it cos he's getting a bit into that lately too.
