I actually misread the title and thought this was Wonder Woman... didn't even know there was a Superwoman... had to do a deep dive just now.

IIRC... Gina Garano didn't get fired for comparing conservative persecution to the Holocaust... Disney just didn't want to work with her again because she refused to give the apology that was prepared for her by the PR people. Such a strange hill to die on IMO. I get why Disney wanted nothing to do with her anymore though... it is in the conservative playbook to try and minimize tragedies... I mean just look at how they are constantly trying to downplay the events of Jan. 6th.

And remember James Gunn got in trouble too, but he apologized and laid low for a little bit making Suicide Squad and then Disney worked with him again.
