The $75 price might be isolated to these releases because of the paint apps and accessories, according to Matt Cardona...which I thought was the point of the Ultimates line in the first place but whatever.
Brian Flnn had said in an interview last year that if tooling costs didnt go down Ultimates could be $75 by July if this year. And seeing how its almost July and these preorders are $75....I guess we'll know for sure when those Simpsons preorders drop next week.

Theres an earlier version of Matt as an ultimates, btw. You should still be able to find it at it's original $45 price.
