Well, not exactly the same of course. As good as Toybiz was back then, I honestly believe Hasbro has surpassed them by now (unfortunately not only in quality, but also in price ). But yes, I would definitely be down for current style Legends figures of these independent characters.

Don't get me wrong about nostalgia. I'm all about nostalgia and as a big GI Joe fan and collector (both vintage and modern) I love every new classic O-ring and 3.75/4 inch size project. I just don't get these 5 points of articulation style figs (admitted, a little more here, but you get my point). The only figures of that style I ever really liked where the classic Action Force ones from Palitoy, especially the Red Shadows. But nostalgia or no nostalgia, these days I simply see no reason anymore to make that style of figure... unless it's to cut down on costs and overprice them as seems to be the case here... personal opinion of course. :s
