I think that's the main reason. I remember this board (and many others) had many voicing that the new 7" McFarlane DC figures won't scale or fit with their already existing 6" DC Universe figures collection made by Mattel. I never collected DC Universe figures, I've always been a Marvel guy, but I can understand how that would bother people.

McFarlane since 2019, but yes, DST and NECA have been doing 7" figures for many years. But DST and NECA's products are relatively small compare to Hasbro, Mattel and others. However, you're right, just give it time.
