To my knowledge (I don’t buy NECA turtles) that vehicle does not include any figures, right? With this project, you’re paying for all the stretchgoals upfront, and they are all 6-inch figures.
So let's just say a figure costs 25 bucks. You have two already, Ghost Rider and Robbie. Let's assume there are 5 stretchgoals, that's 175 bucks total.
Which basically cuts the price in half and that's what the vehicle would've been. Or rather, What you’re seeing now, whiteout any extra figures besides Ghost Rider, would be 200 bucks. Still a lot, but much more manageable.
I really don’t like the stretchgoal figure system with Haslab. It puts unnecessary strain on the price of what they actually want to release, and in the worst case it locks figures some people desire behind a project they do not care for.
I would buy this at 200. I won’t buy it at 350 with figures sprinkled in I don’t want. Could I flip the other figures afterwards and make a good sum of money back? Surely. But I don’t want to, especially when it isn’t even guaranteed that the figures are actually included.
Also they said on Twitter the stretchgoal figures aren’t even necessarily Robbie Reyes related. Which makes me care even less.
