From kickstarters I backed before a six inch figure should be between 6000 to 8000 dollars for sculpting, rough estimates used. I don't know the lisence fee that disney forces them to pay so i can't factor that in.
I also dont know how this is going to be in terms of finished product but ultimately they are asking for 3,150,000 to make this vehicle so how much profit are they ultimately making at the end?
These numbers are all vague estimates based on assumptions and standards that may not apply to this project or Hasbro, but... considering the reuse already in play, we're looking at
maybe
20k for GR's tooling. The car looks to be about 100k, so about $15 per unit (at minimum funding) for tooling amortization, about $10 in raw materials, maybe $12-15 in labor, add 50% for shipping & additional costs, so roughly $60 per unit.
Last numbers I heard had Disney taking a 20% royalty on gross, which is $70 for every unit, leaving about $220 profit per unit for Hasbro, or $2 million in total. Anyone else, feel free to correct me.
