I am not familiar with this version of Ghost Rider at all, space limitation is my #1 concern so I stopped buying anything that looks cool, unless it's on deep clearance or for my kids.
This Dodge sure looks awesome.
If this was a highly wanted Nostalgic product like a Knight Rider; Knight Industries Two Thousand K.I.T.T. with Michael Knight (The Hoff!) It would be a hard pass at $350.
$200 yes bought, $250 maybe...
Now on another note if it was the A-Team Van, it would be more reasonable due to size.
Same can be said about the TMNT Party Wagon from NECA at $250 being (barely) reasonable, Super7 at $500 way too overpriced.
The biggest apparent problem with this particular Ghost Rider product is the tier modes raising the price to an unreasonable level with the tier levels not being a certainty. A separate "made to order" for the action figures themselves would be a much better option. It seems like we are almost "forced" by our collecting filling gaps to buy a product such as this just to add figures we want. Sounds good on paper for Hasbro until a backing fails.
Marvel Legends continuing it's ever increasing prices across the board with less packaging and more Quality Control issues now than ever shows Hasbro's true colors.
At these prices I don't buy all the inflation stories and 9000 units is not exactly a low production for action figures as it rivals the production numbers of Masters of the Universe Classics' world wide release through mattycollector and many store exclusives numbers.
This all seem like a swan song of multiple companies producing action figures. They keep upping the price using any excuse. Most of the products are overpriced.
3D printers are continuing to be on the rise, the nostalgia generation is aging and they are well aware. There is a time limit on most of the intellectual properties we are nostalgic about.
At any rate these products are most likely "it". If you are really liking what you see and can afford these luxury prices along with having the space for display, by all means!
