The figures look good. However, Hasbro completely missed the boat on the packaging. I get wanting to "save the earth" and all. I'm all for it. But, they have just shut out a huge swath of their nostalgia driven fan base who are going to want these in a bubble with a trading card next to it, just like they used to be. Part of the motivation to restart this line should have been for those 30 and 40 somethings who have such fond memories of these figures. Even if the buyer is younger, many are going to want to keep the figure in the package and maybe display. With windowless package and a figure inside a generically designed box with no throwback to the original packaging, that idea has also been thrown out the window. All of this is of course assuming that that is the final mockup for the packaging.

Except for Lebron, Steph and maybe Giannis, I see the others and future waves shelf warming. Damn, I was really excited for this too.
