I'm also super annoyed by the fact that tons of people seem to be perfectly ok with Hasbro essentially holding fan-fav figures hostage behind an unrelated Haslab. And many have been parroting the corporate talking point of "oh we can never release these figures to retail".
Then put them up for Pulse exclusive or fan channel. NO EXCUSES.
If your excuse is "controversial" figures cannot be sold via online shops, then what's your excuse for selling them here in Haslab??? What's the difference? If Christian moms will line up to protest a Pulse exclusive, what's stopping them from protesting a Haslab?
They think we're stupid. (some of us are apparently)
-I'll give Anthony this, he's not a "take my money" moron reviewer flashing a Futurama GIF like a lot of these other shills are.
-"Fan-fave" is subjective but I assume you're referring to Goblin Queen (though an argument can be made for Mephisto).
-I don't understand this "controversial" argument in regards to Goblin Queen. They released that Hellfire Club set with Jean and White Queen, which were much more provocative. This is a desperation tactic, plain and simple. If Mephisto didn't jumpstart you Blackheart sure as heck wasn't.
-"They think we're stupid." Sorry bud, I don't see too much here to challenge that theory. You got people complaining about every single release yet still preordering them, people who clearly can't manage their money, people who refuse to use eBay because they think it's a scalper haven (even though you can get deals on tons of figures), I could go on.
Anyone remember DC Universe Classics? Figures broke right out of the package, waves barely made it to shelves, and who could forget "No Monkey No Sale"? Yet somehow it managed twenty waves, a few sub-waves, and three years of a subscription. Why? Because collector's are stupid.
