So I know I'm walking into a bees nest with this but I actually like these. The new parts look great and the Cosmo figure is exactly what I was waiting for. I do have to share some disappointment at some of the choices here. Star Lord is nice and the new head sculpt is great but where's the storage for his guns? No holsters? Odd that and the same for no helmet. I'm hoping that isn't like that in the film, like after it was broken in Vol. 2 he didn't replace it? Nebula, Drax and Mantis are fine, Rocket has some great articulation for once and I wish they would apply that design work and engineering to make a new Vol. 1 figure. Adam Warlock is fine. I'll get him. Groot is...not terrible but the lips look kinda odd, lol. Way to add a spoiler for Baby Rocket BTW, lol. Hope that it's not because Rocket dies and we get a baby replacement like what happened with Groot. No, I'm good with these mostly but Kraglin...this is the third reuse for the Vol. 1 Star Lord body and I kinda didn't dig it with the Yondu figure either but at least he had a long coat to help hide it. It just looks awkward here and I would have liked a Kraglin head from before he added the fin. In general I think Hasbro did a decent job considering the inflation and oil prices which impacts costs of plastic manufacture but there's some here to be desired and I hope they can fill that in eventually. I'm a Guardians of the Galaxy junkie though so this is all plastic crack for me. I have about a dozen or so Star Lord figures and all I see here is customizing opportunities and I think I need a 12 step program to help me.
