I'm not hating on The Batman, I enjoyed it. And SM did a good job with the figures, vehicles and Batcave that they released. But talk about peg warmers. The 4 single-packed figures are STILL clogging the aisles at Ollies and even some Walmarts.
I think the line they've cooked up for The Flash will fair much better; I doubt that movie's PG-13 rating will be for drug use and heavy violence. Maybe they've got a "Two DC movies per year" max limit? If so, we certainly won't be seeing any Blue Beetle figs in this scale, either.
I would have even been fine with it if they just tacked on a Shazam figure to the Flash line just to get the main hero out there. Maybe they saw how many of the 6 inch figures ended up at five below after the last movie.
