Thankfully neither of these are big problems, the hat itself hides the mentioned gap at most angles and i never planned on having indy go fisticuffs. Not a qc issue but a design flaw is that the hole for the whip-loop isn't large enough for the corresponding pin to really fit through so i had to use a straightened paper clip to expand it a little which seems to have solved the matter. On to the good stuff. The likeness in hand seems much better than promotional images, it could be better but it's definitely within my acceptable standards for the scale. Overall the figure looks good, in particular the weathering wash on his jacket and hat help bring out the sculpt. Mine has a dot-blemish near his left eye but given indy's proclivity for running through cob-webs and rolling through dirt this is pretty easily written off. Articulation is comparable to a modern black series figure except for the ball-joint wrists, aesthetics clearly took priority over function but he still features enough movement to achieve various dramatic poses. His accessories are sourced from the iconic opening temple sequence so he's got the idol, his pistol, his whip, a coiled whip, and the alternate hands. The box shows the satchel as an accessory too but he comes packed already wearing it under his jacket. The whip is a bit frustrating to work with, it's just plastic but it's not soft enough to easily manipulate nor is it sturdy enough to already have a preset shape. However one's whip may come warped in packaging could significantly alter one's options, it certainly seems damn near impossible to get one as dynamic as the box-render shows without heating and shaping it yourself. I love raiders of the lost ark so i was eager for this figure and overall the positives outweigh the negatives, even with my encountered qc issues this is a satisfying 6" scale indiana jones.

lame joke aside i do like it for a semi-standard comic freeze. The main source material used for reference seems to be his depiction from detective comics 1027 but there's definitely a lot of added details that weren't in the comic, which is common practice for this line. Freeze's suit doesn't have a locked down color scheme over his many appearances (this guy probably has a more constantly revolving wardrobe than iron man) but the black undersuit with the light armor on top is a recurring choice. I like how this figure isn't just plain black and white though, as there are pieces of his armor which are done in a light blue to add a little touch of color. The dome is executed well in its clarity and ease of removal/replacement so his head's articulation can be accessed. He does have his freeze ray but the ice-blast/cold-exhaust piece is fixed at the end of the barrel, i assume this was done to get around wb's policy on guns. I was eventually able to separate the pieces on mine but the amount of effort i had to apply really tells me that it isn't an intended feature. If you get one and decide to remove that piece then i'd advise a good amount of caution as you might seriously damage the barrel while trying to remove it.

I will say the effect piece works better with kraglin since he doesn't have the jacket yondu did
i cut off yondu's arrow from the effect piece so he could holster the arrow. Haven't decided if i will do that with kraglin.
Kraglin looks great on the guardians shelf

would love a studio series 86 optimus, but also want an ironhide red figure.

hasbro gi joe classified classic gung-ho
is the retro carded jaye worth having if you already have the regular release of her?
Hasbro gi joe classified tiger force recondo
the recondo body makes for a great flint if hasbro decided to do a retro or tiger force flint.
Hasbro gi joe classified python patrol soldier
didn't realize until i had the figure in hand that the python patrol trooper/soldier/officer was african, not caucasian.
As an added bonus cobra merged with hydra
