In all of them, the legs look long enough and the proportions look more aesthetically pleasing. In this figure, it looks wonky.

As for new designers for legs, I am ok if it is an improvement. But, you can clearly see the leg connector joints here even in her neutral pose when the previous design does not. Then it is not an improvement. So I am all for giving new jobs, but it has be ensured that they do good jobs too.
