There's no attempt to design these cars in a vacuum, it's literally "popular past Batmobile + current car design trend". And if you don't like that trend....
The only elements this new SP Batsled have in common with the OG SP Batride are elements of the colorway and logo placement. That is it.

The OG SP Batroller looks nothing like the Futura. Typeface or car. Now that you mention it though I CAN see elements of the Super Friends Batmotor carried through from the 66 Futura. But the OG SP Slick Bat only borrows colorway elements and placement then diverges from it. Drastically. It lacks many of the basic design elements from the 66 and SF derivation.
Yup, that's all hypercar stuff. All it's missing is some carbon fiber vinyl wrapping and even more fake plastic vents. Nasty, nasty things. But hey, the initial renders looked even worse with more of the totally rando cutouts around the front and a less swoopy windshield, so it could have been a lot worse. I think I can disappear most of the fascia and rear deck issues with a bit of styrene, and once that's cleaned up I can live with the rest.[/QUOTE]
Well I guess I hate Hypercars then. So thanks for helping me figure that out. I liked the initial renders better. If you mod the shit out of it and it comes out nice I genuinely look forward to seeing it.
