Anyway, Nagi was in love with the same woman as Hamato Yoshi. Nagi kidnapped the woman after learning she was in love with Hamato and challenged Hamato to a fight to the death. Hamato won and both he and his love fled to America. Oroku vowed vengeance for his brother's murder and trained as a Foot Ninja, rising to the ranks of Shredder. He was then sent to their NYC branch, which is where he learned Hamato and his lover were, so he killed them both upon his arrival.
