Yes, I know, I've read the Mirage Compendium. I was doing a basic, bare bones explanation to be quick and not give all of the spoilery details.
However, it never dawned on me that they were using the Japanese way of speaking names by putting the last name first, so thank you for that. In fact, the cartoons never said Oroku was his last name either.
