I have experience with Good Smile Moderoid models. Considering you snap it entirely together, they make incredible action figures. Arms, legs, et cetera are more prone to detaching (and needing to be slid back on) but for a do-it-yourself action figure, the quality and results are incredible.
EDIT: Also the assembly is fun. It is, after all, a model kit.
EDIT2: But yeah, as a model kit, the paint job will be much simpler unless you choose to paint. Good Smile does decent job molding the parts in the correctly colored plastic, but little details here and there would have to be done by you (there are stickers to handle some bits, but the stickers are "mileage may very". Regardless, if this Voltron is truly all lions, detachable and reassembleable, for $47 (price in Yen overseas) this is a steal. That said, this is a model-kit, not a true action figure. Weighting will be "funny", and as I said above, arms will pop off pretty easily. It's partly the experience of assembling the kit plus the wonder over what can be accomplished from a snap-together model.
