I can't believe I never saw this topic before.
I've been playing the RE series since May. It's the first time I've been obsessed with RE in over a decade.
I've gone through Remake2, REemake3, Remake4 (4 times), 5, 6, and 7. This was my first time playing 7 at all and it was a pretty enjoyable game even though the mold creatures got boring while I found the first bit to be utter boring since I had to constantly run and hide from the dad.
6 was as dreadful as I remembered. In fact, 6 was so bad it killed the franchise for me to the point where I pretty much stopped playing anything RE related until Remake2 came out.
Now I have to play through 8 and the two Revelations games along with the DLC to 7.
Oh, it also helped though that 5 and 6 were ported to the PS4 (along with the original version of 4), so being able to play them on all on my PS5 was nice. The only thing that did suck was having to start over from scratch as I had infinite ammo in 5 and the Chicago Typewriter in the original version of 4 on both the Gamecube and Wii.
It also got me to rewatch all of the live action movies and boy, what a mistake that was. I forgot how terrible the Alice movies progressively got. At least Welcome to Raccoon City wasn't horrible and actually had moments of suspense and tension.
