Finally managed to crack open my Batman 6-pack (this packaging is a next-level chore when you've got an injured hand) and I'm loving it. There are caveats to be sure, but the overall presentation is great.

Interestingly, '89 is totally different than the one included with the Batmobile, it's not just the bat logo. It has a much warmer shade of gold on the belt/flesh on the face, and the mold looks to have been resurfaced or something, because the body has lost most of its sheen and the thighs and torso are a much much much better match for the rubbery briefs. I think somewhere in the middle would've been the most accurate, but I'll take the consistency as a win. I can always buff a sheen onto the figure anyway, right?

Bizarrely, the movie-specific details of the Kilmer and Clooney suits have been tooled in instead of being separate. I want to know what bean-counter proudly stated that they managed to shave a couple grand off the molds before being told they just cost the company like 60 grand due to the re-use loss.

And most of my collection is boxed up for a move but some stuff was still accessible...
