Yeah, it doesn't make a ton of sense for physical figures, as the shading is supposed to be...shade, from a shadow created from a light source, but makes no sense to permanently paint on as the source of light is obviously going to vary based on limitless factors when displaying.

I could kinda see it as a one-off here or there to enhance a character, but the way they are just doing it full-throttle just doesn't look good in general - and I'd never be able to look at that Gordon figure without thinking he soiled his pants, LOL.

I'm kinda glad - I have way too much to collect right now, and I've never gone in on the BTAS stuff except for Catwoman (as I collect her in general) - these figures without "cell shading" would be too attractive for me to skip.
