More re-dos, different looks i"m not interesting in, or straight up repaint/releases means less figures I'm actually knocking off my own list. But still...when something from my list gets released lately, half the time it's not just a win, but a huge win. And I'm still anticipating the rumored Nefaria to show up this year. Fingers crossed.

Since the Legends line really got back into gear 10 years ago (I know the ROML was in 2012 but it took a couple of years to get stable and good figures on a regular basis), Polaris, Selene, Enchantress, Justice, Firestar, hell all of Alpha Flight I really wanted.... freakin' SAURON (quite possibly my favorite ML of all time), Nimrod, half the OG Thunderbolts, the Hellfire Club set I've practically dreamed about, over 2 waves of AoA figures,...I mean...the list continues to go on for me and I'm sure for others of characters we've really wanted that finally made it in. Wow...run on sentence there. Anywway

Definitely not complaining. The list of near-necessary figures I want to see can finally be counted on two hands. I'm not saying there's not more I want but I'm mostly good with the line as it is. Mostly.

And Stegron, you have no worries about. He was a joke to me at first, and then somehow became a want and is now the Spider-Man BAF I want most. But still... he's easily below my top several dozen wants, so it's not like the entire list is that wacky. Squid's around the same spot. Although at this point, with the exception of Wizard and a Hasbro Mandarin, we're probably at C-lister level at best, probably D lister. Some of those just catch my attention more than others and I'm sure I'm not alone in that.
I get it and I wonder if part of Hasbro’s strategy is to string out some of these routinely asked for characters like Nefaria and Graviton to delay long-term collectors from calling it quits on the line. If they keep teasing long awaited heroes/villains/looks there is a chance that collectors nearing the end might spot grab other offerings that weren’t as high on wish lists biding time before their exit point. I’m not even sure what’s on my list beyond the two I mentioned and about 6-8 other glaring omissions. Everything else is so obscure that I’d almost feel guilty if they used slots to make them. Crystar comes to mind, and I remain hopeful for Rom especially now that I have the Omnibus.
