Lots of speculation about the rock tease. Could it be a Haslab Playset/Diorama?
I've seen it suggested that the rock tease is for an X-Men Arcade Sentinel figure. In the game, they look about human height so the Iron Man Model 9 could be reused.
I think the stuff in the Charlotte Dobre video is true to an extent. Having an archive of old toys or old toy molds would be expensive. It would be decades of products from multiple lines that would need to be stored and cared for. Not to mention the space it would take up. And I can definitely see them buying old figures to make reissues. But only for figures that were PHYSICALLY sculpted. So it only would be for reissues of Beast Wars, G1 Transformers, o-ring GI Joe, and the Star Wars Retro Collection.
Figures that were created with digital sculpting should still be available through Hasbro's own digital files. So the reissues of the Silver Surfer and the slew of recent Star Wars Black Series reissues would be made from Hasbro's own files. It would be a very poor use of Hasbro's time and money to have employees constantly rebuying figures to scan when they could just hang on to the digital files.
