I would try dropping him into a boiled water bath for one minute flexing out his arm and wrist joints. it seems like you aren't getting the full range out of his wrists and elbows. Mine holds the torch like a champ.

That isn't accurate. Many figures have a verticle cut right wrist and horizontal on the left. That allows them to hold rifles well "at ready" and even shoulder them (Though, sometimes they make a strange decisions to utilize two horizontal cuts for gun toters) A lot of the guys that use swords have 2 vert cuts for their hands. Like Retro Storm Shadow. Even though Grunt uses 2 horizontal joints he can still shoulder a rifle very well. As far as paying attention to use as it pertains to weapons and wrist articulation Classified is the gold standard.
