Thanks for the information, everyone.

2. Price is where it has to be whether we like it or not.

The quality is comparative to MAFEX figures. In my opinion, slightly better. Most Mafex figures are averaging $105-120 now. They started around the $70 mark. INFLATION/DEMAND/LIMITS.

Hellboy will not sell nearly as many units as the popular IP's Mafex is using like Marvel. Also, they don't make nearly as much product. Which means they have to charge more.
The Hellboy figure torso has a high quality rubber material to make it more articulated. Higher cost than regular plastic. (Example: Mattel Street Sharks 2024 new releases has an extremely thin rubber compared to the old vintage Street Sharks. Times have changed, the process and material is much more expensive than it used to be, yet the Hellboy figure still feels like quality long lasting rubber...it took Mezco like 4 years to accomplish the 1989 Batman rubber suit body...pretty sure they took a bath on that with the price they asked for them)

Demand. Direct Exclusive Hellboy figures, which are basically the same as this anniversary edition, are on the after market for at least $300.

LASTLY, ordering direct from 1000toys, NO SHIPPING COST, NO TAXES, $155 flat.

If you aren't into high quality action figures then it's not for you. For some reason these other collectors are chiming in as if this is a Target and Walmart release. Somehow they can't fathom something costing more than $15 dollars and have no clue what the difference is. They even complain when those prices went to $25. Hopefully this information quells the spread of ignorant misinformation that hurts the same business they claim to care about.

There are some people that will never understand the difference between a Mercedes and a Toyota, a Dell or a Mac, McDonalds or their own mothers home cooking...Ignore them.
The new Mezco figures are great.
But that's a good recomendation for 1000 Toys.
I think I'm going to get it.

What about McDonald's and Eddie Murphy's mom's burgers?
Which one is better?

Point of curiosity: which ones did you get?

So the $71 I paid for the figure is significantly less than the $110+tax asked by stores like BBTS and EE. Even $71 is a bit much for these figs in my estimation, so 1000toys' $160+tax price can go screw themselves.
Mind sharing that link?
