I'm just hoping we can finally get some real X-Men movies now. First Class was the only one that was actually any good and then they had to go and fuck that up with Days of Future Past. To be fair though, DOFP seems quite tame compared to what came after. Shit, even X3 wasn't THAT bad.
Yes, it was that bad. It really, REALLY was.

We have Vulture though?????
From 2019, yes, fans do. I missed out on him when he came out. Besides, Vulture needs an upgrade. Also, people have been asking for the youthful/armored suit version of Vulture, so I'd take seeing Vulture than Spider-Boy.

We need The Enforcers, Belladonna, Gibbon, Will'O Wisp, Grizzly, Styx and Stone, Jonathan Caesar, Man Mountain Marko, and Cardiac well before those dudes.
And we likely will, for the most part. I don't see Jonathon Caesar being made, though, and it's rumored Cardiac can't due to licensing issues with Erik Larsen. I don't know if that's true or not, but it'd explain why Cardiac hasn't been made yet. But that said, it doesn't help collectors who are starting their collection get a figure of Vulture, Doc Ock, etc. Just because you and I got a figure of a popular character, that doesn't mean new collectors should have to wait X years to get a Green Goblin or Lizard or have to pay $50 to $80 for a previous figure of said character. Green Goblin and Electro haven't had new figures since 2020, Hobgoblin's 2021 figure was lackluster, Doc Ock hasn't had a new comic book based figure on an updated body mold since 2018, and as I said, Venom is a Walmart con exclusive instead of a wide release figure. I get that other heroes, villains, civilian characters and Spider-Men need to be made first, but this X-year wait to get a new figure made of a popular hero or villain for new collectors is ridiculous.

What exactly makes this Wells dude so bad? Because the only thing I ever hear about is some dude named Paul and people are pissed off because MJ married him. I don't get the issue because since they have stated they are never going to get Peter and MJ together again is she supposed to remain single for the remainder of her existence?
Oh, man, you REALLY need to catch up. This is the guy who had Peter work for Norman Osborn for almost all of his run, needed Norman and his tech to help him in battle as couldn't win his own fights on his own against enemies he's fought before and defeated since he was 15 with the Vulture being the worst example, had everyone from the Avengers to the Fantastic Four hate him for no reason (that turned out to be he asked them to help him get M.J. and Paul free, but they didn't so he turned to Norman for help), has both fought with Tombstone and been turned evil three different times in two+ years, was infected by Norman Osborn's sins TWICE and had no lasting ramifications of being turned evil, killed off Kamala Khan for no reason (and it's rumored it was supposed to be M.J. who would've died until it had to be changed), has had Peter treated like garbage by Mary Jane and his friends for no reason, M.J. has been with Paul for no reason and helped him take in two magicically-created kids for eight or so issues that Wells couldn't get the name of the girl right (she went from being named Romy to Stephanie to Romi and had to fix it by saying "Romy" is a nickname) and the kids ultimately died/vanished, did nothing with the Sinister Six in the 900th issue, had Peter date Felicia for a handful of issues but we never actually saw any development on that and then he broke them up (especially before guest writer/upcoming 10-issue writer Joe Kelly had Peter tell Felicia he now loved Mary Jane "like a sister" during this time), etc., etc. Seriously, I'm not doing justice to how badly the garbage dump that is Zeb Wells' run has been. Also, Mary Jane and Paul are NOT married. That was listed in a recap page in one of Zeb Wells' issues and Marvel confirmed it was a mistake.

The only way I could see myself buying anything in a Secret Wars wave is if there are X-Men/Spider-Man characters I need to have because the comic itself sucked.
Whether the comic itself sucked or not is irrelevant to me. I believe the revealed SDCC brown-and-tan suit Wolverine MIGHT be one of the six figures and that'd be fine with me. I'm curious, and nervous, about who the other five figures could actually be, though. There are a LOT of characters that need updating and first-time figures and we're getting six figures of a toyline from Mattel that originally had eight characters. I could see it being Captain America, Iron Man, a Spider-Man (classic or black suit), Wolverine, Magneto and Doctor Doom or Doctor Octopus. Doc Ock seems unlikely because he'd probably be a Deluxe release, Doom could be either classic or a repainted toy-accurate version of the Captain Marvel two-pack figure from last year, and Kang seems unlikely due to getting previous new releases. I'd personally love to buy Captain America and Doc Ock, since I missed their previous figures and don't want to cough up $65 on the re-released two-pack of Doc Ock with Silk. There are other characters that fans would love to see more, and rightfully so, from Titania and the Absorbing Man to the Wrecking Crew. Heck, I'm hoping for new figures for Hulk, Thor, Cyclops, Colossus, Rogue, the Lizard, Enchantress and Klaw, whether it's from "Secret Wars" or future Marvel Legends waves. I'd even take Daredevil, Falcon, Hobgoblin, Constrictor, Electro and Iceman. Whatever Hasbro ends up doing for "Secret Wars", I hope it carries on into 2025 as well.
