Can someone explain why Magneto is holding a Gun in the Living Room while everybody is watching TV? X-men or not, That's a strange scene in any movie.

Speculation at Comicvine (or was it IGN?) is that it's a starter pistol, as Magneto, Havok, and Banshee are all wearing track outfits. Possibly just coming in or just getting ready to go out for "PE."
