Hey, man. Thanks, I’ve been as well as one can be with all the madness afoot. I hope you and yours are also good. I’ve been here, lurking, I just haven’t had much that I felt needed saying. Outside of Rom, Luke, and Danny, I’ve stayed pretty quiet. I haven't slowed down in collecting. I have just been private about my nabs and opinions on the industry. I nearly commented on the Ryan Ting thing. Even though I have always looked at them as little more than Hasbro execs performing their jobs as consumer-facing brand ambassadors, I still respected the effort they put into trying to cater to our wants. It was disappointing to read he was laid off. I guess we will see what impact that has moving forward.

I wouldn’t give up entirely. These latest reveals demonstrate Hasbro’s willingness to take chances on costumes that offer problems. Hound suit Rachel, Emma, Feral, Mephisto, and even the earlier Damion Hellstrom (sporting a pentagram) represent a departure from what many have assumed were hurdles to production. However, I get where you are coming from. Mandarin’s costume situation ranges from bad design to potentially being insensitive to cultural tropes. That’s a different nut to crack than being risqué, or offensive to certain religious beliefs.

They could provide a suited version of Mandarin, but that might not satisfy fans. The costume that looks like Ming the Merciless, from Flash Gordon, could also be done, but it’s far from iconic. Which costume do you want to see made?
