Lots of orders are rolling in this week.
Boss Fight’s Death and Kier, the first two offerings from their Court of the Dead line, kicked things off on Monday.
Today I received my Executioner wave and will be building the BAF tonight. Additionally, my Starfox and Champion arrived, which I am most excited about.
Tomorrow I’m expecting my Four Horsemen Figure Obscura: Jersey Devil and Gods of Egypt: Thoth. Very excited about those deliveries.
The 2nd retro wave (not sure what # retro wave it is but it has Surfer in it), Astonishing Beast, and Black Bolt & Triton should be here on Friday. And I have a second Astonishing Beast, Medusa & Gorgon, Nick Fury & Punisher, in my pile of loot awaiting Iceman to clear preprocessing for me to ship.
Apparently, Christmas came in November this year.
EDIT:
Quick thoughts - Why did it take so long for The Executioner? The fig is nearly pitch perfect. There are some articulation nitpicks I could make, but the overall presentation is very satisfying. The Enchantress is both better and worse than the other iterations, if that makes any sense. Warbow is great, but I'm a Crystar homer. I'm happy for this particular Jack Russell look and I wasn't expecting a whole lot. That said, they could have done better on the head sculpt, offered an additional noggin, and a set of fists. Spider-God, mysterium Iron Man, and Phantom Rider are just there. Not bad, but not very meaningful to me as a Marvel fan.
Also, X-Men '97 plastic appears to be the future.
EDIT:
Hasbro has done an excellent job on both Eros and Slatterus. The designs are simple but handled with a fair amount of care and detail in both sculpt and paint. There’s a good amount of part re-use, but I'm very happy with these additions to my cosmic collection. Starfox surprised me with how much I like it, especially considering that I grew up not caring for the character. It possesses a subtle awesomeness IMO. Well done for what it is. The presentation is similar to FA Star-Lord, Firelord, FA Yondu, and FA Ikaris. The pictures I saw of the two-pack had me a little worried about the expressions. The heads look much better in real time and I I'm happy for it.
