Man I'm excited for Toynami/Tamashii's partnership. Not only did they announce SOC figures and Gundam stuff last year, but also plans for Macross! 1/55 reissues that ended up delayed until this year. So far, I figure there must still be some delays, as the first 4 Origin of Valkyrie releases that were planned have yet to come out here with the Toynami sticker on the box. The Toynami sticker is the only thing differentiating the packaging from the Bandai/Tamashii releases. The toy, and the rest of the packaging is the exact same!

Last year they showed the VF-1D 1/55 prototype in a corner at SDCC. Man I am more excited for that than many other toys! For one thing it is a VF-1D. Another, it is an all new release for the 1/55 line! Toynami said they were seeing how much demand there would be. Man I can already name members here that would want that thing.

Anyways who else is excited? I hope we see the "DYRL trio", you know what I'm talking about, the Hikaru Strike, ELINT SEEKER, and Super Ostrich. All three of which awesome on account of uniqueness alone(& I like how they gave the unarmed ELINT and Super O the gunpods!), and have not been released for over 20 years! Those three are holy grails for any 1/55 collector!
