I know he's got fans, but I think it's more for the notoriety. IIRC Alan Moore fought with DC over the rights to Swamp Thing and kept the property from being licensed until recently.
There's also the endo-skeleton "feature", but there have been figures already released in Japan with similar gimmicks, so I don't consider it a revolutionary breakthrough like Toy Guru made it seem.

I doubt it. Considering it's an SDCC exclusive and all.
But it definitely looks great. If I wasn't so unsure of the rest of the GL MM line, I'd pick him up immediately.
