For the price I'm going to be paying I really HOPE it's a sturdier type of Plastic. Same here, I figured Revoltech would have done Robo before Figma did.
Maybe this is the start of Figma expanding it's base?
Because I'd really love to get me an ED-209 And RoboCain figures in the same scale.
Question?
Why do you think they didn't included a Mask less head for this figure instead of a Battle Damaged Helmet? Do they just not have the likeness rights to Peter Weller?
Be careful with it and it shouldn't break. After I had the initial break on that one Figma, I treat them nicer now. Important: Do not force the articulation. Sometimes Figmas feel like they can really push the articulation and do some crazy poses. Well yes and no. Sometimes they can, but then you find you out you just force it too much and part of the plastic gets scratched against the harder plastic.
I don't know if Figma is really expanding their base, but if they are, that's cool. I'm sure we'll see a Revoltech version at some point though. As for why they didn't do an unmasked face, it's probably due to sculpting. You'd need a realistic looking face, not an anime face, something Figmas haven't really tried too much in the past. Revoltech's Sci-Fi line, however, would be able to pull it off. That being said, I have no idea how likeness rights work, so that may have played a part.
