Galvatron-Too complicated for his own good, Hasbro really should have gone with Siebenaler's original Ultra class, triple changer design. I think the extremely thin waist, and flimsy joints would not have even set foot on the larger, original design. Looks like the marketing team just said "hey we got BRAWL figures on the shelves, can your idea, size it down, and throw it out there! Who cares if its
incomplete!
". Yes folks, it is incomplete, as the tank legs are left overs from the original design. This compromise worked out for the worst, and its a shame to see Siebenaler's design, not done justice. I hope the original idea is made eventually.
Powerglide-Jet mode is disappointing, as the A-10 looks good until you factor in the side intakes on the sides of the nose/fuselage. It ruins the silhouette. The robot mode looks like a football player, but with tiny limbs. The torso throws me off, its not pleasant to look at due to the unbalanced proportions. The colors actually don't bother me. Its neat that we got a new ultra mold out of this, but disappointing with how it turned out.
Cheetor-So many compromises just for the sake of the gimmick. Proportions thrown off due to the placement of the shoulders, compromised for the gimmick. Cat mode is weird near the waist section, does not look realistic at all. Shuriken gimmick is neat, but otherwise this is a disappointing figure. The original toy's robot mode is far superior. It might not be show accurate, but it looks much better.
