And BOY DO THEY SUCK!
Okay, Crossbones is pretty tight but he has red eyes which is kinda meh and Buckycap is no longer metallic which blows donkeys considering all the ones I saw STILL had paint chips!
The SteveCap and Winter Soldier was okay- Cap has metallic chainmail on this version but the paint apps were laughable- saw a Winter Soldier with NO EYES! Disabled Vet, comin' through!
The great stuff was the Cap/Red Skull Target Exclusive two pack- which I damn near bought to have that SWEET red Skull! Pics dont do it justice- SO much nicer than the carded version and the red Cube is painted with light red highlights.
as great as the Skull is, the cap sucks equally bad- laughably bad. He looks like something done for irony at a gay pride event.
Also bought myself (from a comic shop) a Hydra soldier variant.
Pretty disapointed in it's legs- it's useing SDCC Cap legs (or something just like them) and, just like that cap, the knees are loose and weak- I had to do the 'ol Superglue trick and now they're pretty good.
I was really hoping the helmet came off this guy but beggars and all that...
Great guns with this! The shooter gimmick gun is nicely MU scaled and has a TON of detail molded and painted on!
One odd thing- the variant fig has no decal emblem on his arm like the standard does- but the molded on patch is still there!
I';; add my own Hydra emblem, thank you, Hasbro!
