Mattel needs to learn from the almighty Hasbro. Collect UPCs from the wave, mail them the UPS as proof of purchase, pay for the shipping, wait for figure. This isn't rocket science! How in gods name is a child suppose to read a comic, fall in love with a character only to have their parents go "Wtf is this subscription shit, is this the only way to get the figure?". I know for one when I was a kid, online was a big no no, so retail it was. I am sure a lot of parents don't want to fork out 30 dollars for their kid to join a club for ONE figure they love in the comic!

Mattel is taking this to the extreme, I got nothing against mail away figures [like Marvels Xforce Archangel and Nick Fury] but this is taking it over board.
