i dont see anything wrong with the articulation on this spawn and alot of his other ultra action figures. they were amongst the best if not the best of the 90s to my knowledge.

the sculpt is brilliant, he has articulation at the ankles, knees, hips, wrist, elbows and head. thats not exactly a statue. i see you cant really do many poses like you can with marvel legends, but for the time im sure mcfarlane figures like that were amongst the most articulated??? its a classic action figure with articulation where it needs it for a kid to play with it. nout wrong with that!

there are some other spawn figures that dont have much articulation though, but the sculpt is great so maybe its those you are thinking of. they arent all like that though.
