I use 2 pieces of white cardboard and put them on a corner of my living room. It helps focus the camera on the figures. This is a cheap way and helps if your pressed for room like me. Try to take pics outside. Good natural lighting and you can use trees and grass as a natural environment.
Play with different angles to see what looks best and also change the perspective for height differences. Im not a professional photographer by any means but let me know if you have any questions and ill do my best to help you out. Also try to find backgrounds from other toy sets like the spawn alley playset or worldpeacekeeper dio type items at places like big lots. Thanks to Ludovicotek I finally got a Thor Destroyer. I liked him so much that I decided to take a pic with him and the MU SDCC Thor which I hadnt even popped out of the package until tonight. I actually appreciate the light up red gimmick for this particular figure as well.
